  • Diana De La Torre, Content Specialist

Diana is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) that has been in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for 10 years. She found her first job through Craigslist and was in awe with the science and how it changed the daily lives of many. Diana received her B.A. in Psychology and Spanish from the University of California, Santa Barbara and her M.S. in Counseling with an emphasis in ABA at the California State University of Los Angeles; she is also a member of AASECT. She has worked with individuals with various diagnoses from ages 1-15 years. Throughout this time she has gained experience in many areas including: creating programs, parent education, translating content, overseeing supervisees, conducting trainings for behavior technicians, and running social skills programs. Since the start of her career she saw herself as a ‘tool’ to bridge gaps (she saw many) such as the importance of speaking many languages to foster a collaborative environment and empower families, assessing cultural dynamics, and most importantly that every person (client, parent, staff) deserved and required an individualized approach to be supported.

Diana has been described as ‘excited’ and loves many things including reading, dancing, some light weight lifting, hiking and running. She likes traveling and immersing herself in various cultures and customs. Her ideal day starts off with some coffee and a book followed by a work out and ending with time well spent with loved ones.
